Description

More Useable Features and Unparalleled Performance

The TDR-22 is the best value in a Roller Mower for large-size fields and turf grass production. Unparalleled performance is due to the many standard features that have been field proven over many years of productive use.

Full width 15 cm diameter steel rollers front and back follow the ground contours and help prevent scalping while they smooth the field surface and aid in moisture retention. A high blade tip speed (92 m/s) ensures a high quality finish cut, while a choice of four blade types allows the TDR-22 / TDR-22G to be tailored to meet your specific requirements. The unique bolt-on deck design in a choice of either painted or galvanized deck skins, lowers the cost of ownership over the long term. Independent suspension on the transport wheels provide smoother travel between fields.

The second generation TDR-22 has introduced several significant changes including revised wing pivot geometry, enhanced fore/aft deck balance, an extra-wide transport tire option that further reduces ground pressure, and a focus on reduced maintenance requirements lowering the cost of ownership and operation, just to name a few.

The TDR-22 is yet another example of the ingenuity and quality that goes into producing a durable, reliable rotary finishing mower. The TDR-22 / TDR-22G is not only the best value, they are “The Better Built Choice”.

Pro Lift-N-Turn™ The productivity advantage of Progressive’s exclusive Pro Lift-N-Turn™ system is standard equipment. Operators have the ability to slightly raise the decks off the ground with the PTO still engaged, making turning easier on the turf as the weight of the mower is distributed between the tractor and the floatation tires. An automatic stop prevents the main decks from raising too far. The result is less product damage from dragging the rollers across immature turf. Progressive’s Pro Lift-N-Turn™ has simply eliminated the issues competitive mowers face when turning at the headlands. An optional wide profile turf tire (33×16 LL-16.1 10pr) is also available.

Ideal Front to Back Deck Balance: The deck pull points are positioned slightly ahead, but much closer to the deck than how competitive models are designed. The TDR-22 decks are pulled – not pushed with the result that there is less loading on the front roller, making the TDR-22 well suited for use in soft ground conditions, while the ability to follow changing contours is unsurpassed. Requires one float circuit.

Lower cost of Operation: Maintenance Free Blade Spindles HEX-Drive Roller-End bearings, 100 hr PTO Shaft Greasing Intervals, all Standard Equipment Developed and tested over several years, Progressive offers several standard features to reduce operating cost. Maintenance-free blade spindles are completely interchangeable with a greased spindle. The same housing is utilized providing wide spacing between the bearings, ensuring low bearing loading and a long life. Roller-end bearings are sealed and use HEX Drive Rollers shafts for positive engagement and durability. Heavy duty 100 hour greasing interval PTO shafts are used for long service life. Reduced greasing requirements not only protect the owner’s investment from a missed service, it also reduces overall maintenance time and cost.

Bolt-on Deck and Galvanized Option: For producers who grow in sandy, or acidic soil conditions, the bolt-on deck design allows for inexpensive replacement of the deck if necessary. Originally introduced in 2008, the galvanized deck option of the TDR-22G provides added protection necessary for a long service life in these types of soil conditions or where rusting from fertilizer use is a concern. The bolt-on deck design is made possible only because Progressive uses a separate deck frame design in the construction of the TDR-22.
