TDR-15 Tri-Deck Roller Finishing Mower

Versatile and Productive

Progressive’s 4.7 m TDR-15 Tri-Deck Roller finishing roller mower is an ideal choice for municipal grounds care, parks, sports facilities, polo fields, or estates, in either wet or dry conditions.

This versatile mower can cut as low as 1,2 cm. Full width rollers smooth the field surface and stripe for a pleasing visual impact. The rollers can speed divot repair, promote root-to-soil contact, aid plant health and help moisture retention.

The superior quality cut comes from high lift rotary blades that create enough vacuum to lift the grass for a clean uniform cut and then disperse the clippings evenly over the rollers. Easy access to height adjusters makes setting the height of cut quick and precise. Rear rollers also provide extra protection for the discharge of clippings and debris. Progressive’s exclusive Pro Lift-N-Turn™ is standard equipment — this allows the decks to be temporarily lifted slightly off the ground with the PTO still engaged and without fear of driveline damage.

The TDR-15 is another example of the ingenuity and quality that goes into producing a durable and productive rotary finishing mower that is easy to maintain. The TDR-15 not only provides versatility of use and quality of construction, it is “The Better Built Choice”.

Lift-N-Turn™ system is standard equipment. Operators have the ability to slightly raise the decks off the ground with the PTO still engaged, making turning easier on the turf and the operator more productive. An automatic stop prevents the decks from raising too far. The result is less ground damage from dragging the rollers across the turf. Progressive’s Pro Lift-N-Turn™ has simply eliminated the issues competitive roller mowers face when making sharp turns.

Easy change height adjustment: Infinite cutting height adjustment from 1,3 to 10 cm is easily accomplished with the supplied tool allowing quick transition between multiple mowing height applications. The durable design resists rusting and wear.

Full length rollers: 15 cm diameter rollers running the full length on both the front and rear of each mower deck, helps to smooth the mowing surface while cutting. The rollers also helps promote healthier turf. The rollers can also stripe the turf for a pleasing visual impact – a testament to the professionalism of the job.

Simpler Maintenance = Lower Cost: Maintenance Free Blade Spindles and 100 hour greasing interval PTO shafts are used to both lower cost and time spent on routine maintenance. They also provide peace of mind that a missed daily greasing won’t render the mower out of service.

C.V. Equipped Input PTO: Progressive has equipped the TDR-15 with a constant velocity (CV) input PTO as standard equipment along with an auto-lock PTO coupler. This makes connecting the mower to a tractor easier, greatly reducing the overall connection time. CV joints also extends service life of the entire driveline as they minimize driveline induced vibration that may occur during turns.

TDR-22 / TDR-22G Tri-Deck Roller Finishing Mower

More Useable Features and Unparalleled Performance

The TDR-22 is the best value in a Roller Mower for large-size fields and turf grass production. Unparalleled performance is due to the many standard features that have been field proven over many years of productive use.

Full width 15 cm diameter steel rollers front and back follow the ground contours and help prevent scalping while they smooth the field surface and aid in moisture retention. A high blade tip speed (92 m/s) ensures a high quality finish cut, while a choice of four blade types allows the TDR-22 / TDR-22G to be tailored to meet your specific requirements. The unique bolt-on deck design in a choice of either painted or galvanized deck skins, lowers the cost of ownership over the long term. Independent suspension on the transport wheels provide smoother travel between fields.

The second generation TDR-22 has introduced several significant changes including revised wing pivot geometry, enhanced fore/aft deck balance, an extra-wide transport tire option that further reduces ground pressure, and a focus on reduced maintenance requirements lowering the cost of ownership and operation, just to name a few.

The TDR-22 is yet another example of the ingenuity and quality that goes into producing a durable, reliable rotary finishing mower. The TDR-22 / TDR-22G is not only the best value, they are “The Better Built Choice”.

Pro Lift-N-Turn™ The productivity advantage of Progressive’s exclusive Pro Lift-N-Turn™ system is standard equipment. Operators have the ability to slightly raise the decks off the ground with the PTO still engaged, making turning easier on the turf as the weight of the mower is distributed between the tractor and the floatation tires. An automatic stop prevents the main decks from raising too far. The result is less product damage from dragging the rollers across immature turf. Progressive’s Pro Lift-N-Turn™ has simply eliminated the issues competitive mowers face when turning at the headlands. An optional wide profile turf tire (33×16 LL-16.1 10pr) is also available.

Ideal Front to Back Deck Balance: The deck pull points are positioned slightly ahead, but much closer to the deck than how competitive models are designed. The TDR-22 decks are pulled – not pushed with the result that there is less loading on the front roller, making the TDR-22 well suited for use in soft ground conditions, while the ability to follow changing contours is unsurpassed. Requires one float circuit.

Lower cost of Operation: Maintenance Free Blade Spindles HEX-Drive Roller-End bearings, 100 hr PTO Shaft Greasing Intervals, all Standard Equipment Developed and tested over several years, Progressive offers several standard features to reduce operating cost. Maintenance-free blade spindles are completely interchangeable with a greased spindle. The same housing is utilized providing wide spacing between the bearings, ensuring low bearing loading and a long life. Roller-end bearings are sealed and use HEX Drive Rollers shafts for positive engagement and durability. Heavy duty 100 hour greasing interval PTO shafts are used for long service life. Reduced greasing requirements not only protect the owner’s investment from a missed service, it also reduces overall maintenance time and cost.

Bolt-on Deck and Galvanized Option: For producers who grow in sandy, or acidic soil conditions, the bolt-on deck design allows for inexpensive replacement of the deck if necessary. Originally introduced in 2008, the galvanized deck option of the TDR-22G provides added protection necessary for a long service life in these types of soil conditions or where rusting from fertilizer use is a concern. The bolt-on deck design is made possible only because Progressive uses a separate deck frame design in the construction of the TDR-22.

TDR 22-6 6 blade Tri-Deck Roller Mower

More cuts per meter, a finer finish cut at a fraction of the operating cost.

The TDR-22-6 introduces a 6 blade deck using 40.6 cm long blades. These blades and a high tip speed provides more cuts per meter of travel, resulting in a finer finish cut, similar to that of a reel mower but at a fraction of the operating cost! The TDR-22-6 offers unparalleled performance and value as it incorporates many standard features and the reduced maintenance designs that have been field proven in existing production mowers.

Six-way deck float allows the full width 15 cm diameter steel HEX Drive Rollers on the front and back of each deck to follow changing ground contours. The productivity advantage of Progressive’s exclusive Pro Lift-N-Turn™ is standard equipment on the TDR-22-6.

Operators can slightly raise the decks off the ground with the PTO engaged, making the TDR-22-6 “easy on the turf” when turning at the headlands, resulting in more harvestable acres! The unique bolt-on deck design lowers the cost of ownership over the long term. Independent suspension provides smoother travel between fields and the standard high floatation tires minimize ground compaction. The peace-of-mind reliability and productivity of the TDR-22-6 is only available from Progressive.

• Maintenance free sealed bearings.
• The height of cut is easily adjusted 1,3 to 10 cm
• More cuts per meter of travel for a finer finish cut.
• Shock absorbing torsion suspension.

Pro Lift-N-Turn™ The productivity advantage of Progressive’s exclusive Pro Lift-N-Turn™ system is standard equipment. Operators have the ability to slightly raise the decks off the ground temporarily with the PTO still engaged, making turning easier on the turf as the weight of the mower is distributed between the tractor and the floatation tires. An automatic mechanical stop prevents the decks from raising too far. The result is less product damage from dragging the rollers across immature turf. Progressive’s Pro Lift-N-Turn™ has simply eliminated the issues competitive mowers face when turning at the headlands. An optional extra-wide profile turf tire (33×16 LL-16.1 10pr) is available.

A Finer Finish Cut with Six Blades The TDR-22-6 has 6 blades in each of the three decks. They are equipped with replaceable Pro-Ez blade tips for efficient and economical operation. The high tip speed of the 41 cm long blades provides more cuts per meter of travel, resulting in a finer finish cut, similar to that of a reel mower but at a fraction of the operating cost.  Forward openings in the bolt-on deck shells enhance air flow which both aids in standing the grass up before cutting as well as permitting the even distribution of the discharged clippings.

Lowering the Cost of Operation The key to reducing operating costs and improving productivity is to eliminate daily routine greasing. Progressive’s field-proven maintenance free blade spindle assemblies, HEX-Drive Roller-End bearings and 100 hour greasing interval PTO shafts eliminate all daily greasing requirements!  Reduced greasing requirements not only protects the owners investment from a missed service, it also reduces overall maintenance time. The result is more available production time. The height of cut is easily adjusted from 1,3 to 10 cm using the 2,5 cm diameter acme thread adjusting screw.  All height adjustment locations are fully accessible. An easy-to-read height gage makes in-field adjustments simple to perform using the on-board tool.

Bolt-on Deck and Galvanized Option:  For producers who grow in sandy, or acidic soil conditions, the bolt-on deck design allows for inexpensive replacement of the deck if necessary. Originally introduced in 2008, the galvanized deck option provides added protection necessary for a long service life in these types of soil conditions or where rusting from fertilizer use is a concern. The bolt-on deck design is made possible only because Progressive uses a separate deck frame design in the construction of the TDR-22-6.

TDR-26 / TDR-26G Tri-Deck Roller Mower

Maximize productivity on every pass!

Maximizing productivity and reducing operating cost is what the TDR-26 / TDR-26G is all about. Designed with a ‘ideal sized’ 7,8 m cutting swath, it balances the need for increased cutting capacity in a cost effective roller mower. The TDR-26 / TDR-26G is “easy on the turf” when turning at the headlands for more harvestable acres!

Like all of our mowers, we designed the TDR-26 as if we were maintaining the mower ourselves, so simplifying and reducing service requirements was an important goal. Maintenance free blade spindles, HEX-Drive Roller-End bearings, with extended 100 hour PTO shaft greasing intervals and fewer grease fittings overall means more time cutting – less time maintaining. We kept it simple: no electro-hydraulic valves or sensors are required. For the ultimate in reliability, many components are fully interchangeable with Progressive’s field proven TDR-22 and TDR-30 models.

Focusing on the needs of the turf producer, Progressive offers four blade options for the TDR-26. The producer can optimize their cut and maintenance costs depending upon the growing conditions by selecting between two fixed blades and two Pro-EZ Change replaceable tip blade options – all featuring Progressive’s renown cut quality. Peace-of-mind reliability and productivity is only available from a Progressive mower.

Bolt-on Deck Shells: Painted or Galvanized Finish For producers who grow in sandy, or acidic soil conditions, the bolt on deck design allows for inexpensive replacement of the deck shell if necessary. Openings in the leading edge enhance airflow and help stand the grass up ready for cutting. Very high blade tip speed ensures a clean cut and good clipping distribution.

Right-Sized for Transport: The TDR-26 wings fold for worry-free transport. Standard equipment includes extra-wide high floatation tires and independent suspension on the transport wheels.

Pro Lift-N-Turn™ The productivity advantage of Progressive’s exclusive Pro Lift-N-Turn™ is standard equipment on the TDR-26 / TDR-26G. Using only one hydraulic function, operators have the ability to temporarily raise all decks off the ground with the PTO engaged, making turning easier on the turf as the weight of the mower is distributed between the tractor and the extra-wide high floatation tires. Simple automatic mechanical stops prevent the decks from raising too far – for increased reliability electric position sensors are not used. The result is less crop damage from dragging the rollers across the turf and a system you can count on! Pro Lift-N-Turn™ has simply eliminated the issues competitive mowers have when turning at the headlands.

Simple and Easy Operation: The TDR-26 / TDR-26G retains the easy maneuverability and simple operation of a tri-deck mower. Requiring just a single hydraulic circuit with float, the TDR-26 / TDR-26G can easily track changing contours as each deck as six-ways of float. A single pull rope releases the transport locks so there’s no need to dismount the tractor.

Maintenance Free: Using field proven, maintenance free blade spindles and HEX-Drive Roller-End bearings in the roller ends means you don’t have to worry about a missed daily service. Add to it the 100 hour PTO shaft greasing intervals, and you can spend more time cutting.

Familiar Design: The height of cut is easily adjusted from 1.3 to 10 cm using the 2.54 cm diameter acme thread adjusting screw, located out of harms-way above the side channel. An easy to read height gage makes in-field adjustments simple to perform using the on-board tool, as all height adjustment locations are fully accessible.

Ideal Front to Back Deck Balance: The wing pull points are positioned slightly ahead, but much closer to the deck than how competitive models are designed. The result is less loading on the front roller making the TDR-26 / TDR-26G well suited for use in soft ground conditions, while the ability to follow changing contours is unsurpassed.

TDR-30G Tri-Deck Roller Mower

Designed to increase productivity on every pass!

Progressive once again has raised the bar in the favor of turfgrass producers, offering unmatched productivity on every pass. The TDR-30G Roller Mower was designed with a ‘right sized’ 8,9 m (29’6”) cutting swath. Progressive has balanced the need for increased cutting capacity with the available horsepower of tractors commonly used in sod production. The TDR-30G’s unique Flex-Deck design covers more width per pass and is “easy on the turf” when turning at the headlands, for more acres cut in less time!

Focusing on the needs of the sod producer, Progressive offers four blade options for the TDR-30G. The producer can optimize his cut and maintenance costs depending upon the growing conditions by selecting between two fixed blade lifts and two Pro-EZ Change Blade options – all featuring the renowned Progressive cut quality.

Like all of our mowers, we designed the TDR-30G as if we were maintaining the mower ourselves, so eliminating all daily service requirements was an important design goal. Maintenance-free blade spindles and roller-end bearings, extended 100 hour PTO shaft greasing intervals, and fewer grease fittings all mean more time cutting – less time maintaining. And to keep the TDR-30G cutting over the long term, pivot bushings are easily replaced.

Pro Lift-N-Turn™ The productivity advantage of Progressive’s exclusive Pro Lift-N-Turn is standard equipment on the TDR-30G. Using only one hydraulic function, operators have the ability to slightly raise the decks off the ground with the PTO still engaged, making turning easier on the turf as the weight of the mower is distributed between the tractor and the high floatation tires. Automatic mechanical stops prevent the decks from raising too far. The result is less product damage from dragging the rollers across immature turf. Pro Lift-N-Turn has simply eliminated the issues competitive mowers face when turning at the headlands.

Unique Flex Deck Design. Utilizing one hydraulic float circuit, the independently floating wing decks are connected with a 4-way hinge that allows the TDR-30G to flex and easily track changing contours. The narrow spacing between the front and back rollers is “easy on the turf”, allowing a superior cut and increasing the yield per field.

Familiar Tri-Deck Design. The TDR-30G takes the easy maneuverability and simple operation of a tri-deck mower – one step further. Operators & owners will embrace its familiar operation, low maintenance requirements and the reduction in overlap across each field that comes from the wide 8,9 m (29’6”) cutting swath. Common with other Progressive roller mowers, the height of cut is easily adjusted from 1.3 to 9 cm (½” to 3½”). All height adjustment locations are fully accessible and have an easy to read height gage, making in-field adjustments simple to perform.

Ideal Front to Back Deck Balance. The wing pull points are positioned slightly ahead, but much closer to the deck than how competitive models are designed. The result is less loading on the front roller making the TDR-30G well suited for use in soft ground conditions, while the ability to follow changing contours is unsurpassed.

Right-Sized for Transport. Deigned to permit transport between fields, the TDR-30G’s unique Flex Deck allows the wings to be folded a transport height of 33 cm and a transport width of 22,8 cm. The wide floatation tires are rated to 40 kmh and the independent suspension on the transport wheels provides for a smoother ride.

Bolt-on Deck Galvanized decks. For producers who grow in sandy, or acidic soil conditions, the bolt on deck design allows for inexpensive replacement of the deck if necessary. The galvanized skin provides added protection necessary for long life in these types of soil conditions or where rusting from fertilizer use is a concern.

TD92/TD92G Tri-Deck Rotary Finishing Mower

The Benchmark Mower of the Sod Industry

Since its introduction in 1990, Progressive’s 6,7 m (22 feet) wide TD92 Tri-Deck Rotary Finishing Mower has become the benchmark mower of the turfgrass industry. It is considered to be the most productive and cost-effective wide-area turfgrass mower available while delivering a quality of cut, second to none. Following extensive customer input, the Next

Generation TD92 raises the bar even higher with new features that will enhance productivity and further reduce ongoing maintenance requirements and cost. The Next Generation TD92 is available with either painted or galvanized, bolt-on deck shells.

Some of the standard features of the Next Generation TD92 include: enhanced clipping discharge, Maintenance Free Blade Spindles, extended 100 hour PTO Shaft Greasing intervals and fewer grease fittings than prior models. Four different OEM blades are available to match local growing conditions.

Retaining many of the same components and design features that have been field proven on over 2,100 older TD92’s, means that there is more time cutting, less time maintaining and more money in your pocket each day! The Next Generation TD92 raises the bar to new heights as the Better Built Choice!

Lowering the Cost of Operation: Field proven over several years, Maintenance Free Blade Spindles and heavy duty 100 hour greasing interval PTO shafts are used to lower both the cost and the time spent on routine maintenance and deliver a long service life. They also provide peace of mind that a missed greasing won’t render the mower out of service. PTO greasing points are easily accessible.

Bolt-on Deck Shell: Painted or Galvanized Versions Available For producers who grow in sandy, or acidic soil conditions, the bolt-on design allows for inexpensive replacement of the deck shell if necessary. The bolt-on shell feature is made possible because only Progressive uses a separate deck frame design. The galvanized deck shell option of the TD92G provides added protection necessary for a long service life in conditions where rusting is a concern. Easy clipping clean out is incorporated into the deck frame design, making washing between crops simple.

Excellent Flotation and Easy Height Adjustment: The TD92 is easy on the turf. Lowground pressure is achieved with 12 large, floatation tires. Tire position is staggered to minimize soil compaction and rutting. Six non-swiveling tires (four caster and the two main transport tires) keep the mower tracking straight while mowing across gentle hillsides.

Easily Transported: Mechanical deck locks are released with a simple pull rope. The decks can be raised or lowered hydraulically from the operator’s seat. Automotive radial tires permit easy transport to another location. A spare deck tire carrier and a hydraulic deck stabilizer for easier height of cut changes, are optionally available.

Designed for the real world: Progressive designed the TD92 mowing deck to provide even dispersion of clippings through an open rear discharge – avoiding clumping and windrows. Only minutes are required to change the cutting height from 1,9 to 12,7 cm without the use of tools. An 8 position hitch adapts to many tractors.

If you want to increase your mowing productivity, simply attach your current TD92 to a Pro-Max 36 and enjoy years of reliable mowing with the best productivity in the industry. The Pro-Max 36 is not just one awesome super-mower, it is also, “The Better Built Choice”.

Pro-Max Mowing System: The Progressive Pro-Max Mowing System is a 5 deck finishing mower that is the combination of the highly successful Progressive TD92 and the PM-36. Together they provide a wide 6,7 m cut swath and give a whole new meaning to productivity! Often growers will begin with the 6,7 m wide TD92 and add a PM-36 at a later date to meet their increased production needs. A Pro-Max Mowing System requires two double-acting hydraulic circuits, one with float capability.

Bolt-on Deck Shell: Painted or Galvanized Versions Available For producers who grow in sandy, or acidic soil conditions, the bolt-on design allows for inexpensive replacement of the deck shell if necessary. The bolt-on shell feature is made possible because only Progressive uses a separate deck and frame design. The galvanized deck shell option of the PM-36 provides added protection necessary for a long service life in conditions where rusting is a concern.

Designed for the real world: The PM-36 mowing deck is designed to provide even dispersion of clippings through a large open rear discharge, avoiding clumping and windrows. Only minutes are required to change the cutting height from 1,9 to 12,7 cm without the use of tools. Easy clipping clean out is incorporated into the deck frame design.

Commonality of Parts: For simple servicing and part availability, many key components are common between the PM-36 and TD92. For instance, all 5 mower deck components are totally interchangeable. This keeps the stock of spare parts required to a minimum and uptime to the max!

Maintenance Free Blade Spindles Developed and tested over several years, Maintenance Free Blade Spindles are used to both lower the cost and time spent on routine maintenance.

They also provide peace of mind that a missed greasing won’t render the mower out of service.

The Progressive TD65 is a Tri-Deck rotary finishing mower providing a 4,7 m wide cut. By using your 30-50 HP tractor the TD65 can mow up to 90 acres in an eight hour day. The TD65 is operator friendly with straight forward and very low maintenance requirements.

Three independent floating decks are mounted on a robust transport frame. These decks conform to and follow most undulations and other ground conditions that are encountered during the mowing of parks, schoolyards, and other large recreation areas without scalping. Maintenance Free Blade Spindles offer peace of mind and lower cost of operation.

The superior cut is the result of our deck design. High lift rotary blades create enough vacuum to lift the grass for a smooth, even cut and then disperse the clippings evenly through the rear discharge system which is unique and an integral part of the deck design. The result is a superior after-cut appearance.

Only minutes are required to change cutting heights from 2,5 to 12,7 cm without the use of tools. In addition, all operating functions for transport and mowing positions are activated from the tractor seat.

The TD65B is another example of the ingenuity and quality that goes into producing a durable, reliable, rotary finishing mower that is easy to maintain. The TD65B is not only of superior quality, providing a superior cut, it is “The Better Built Choice”.

Easy to transport and maintain: Maintenance Free Blade Spindles are used to both lower cost and time of routine maintenance. They also provide peace of mind that a missed greasing won’t render the mower out of service. Mechanical locks secure the decks in the transport position. Optional transport tires and fenders are available if the mower needs to be towed longer distances. All pivot points are fitted with easy-to-reach grease fittings making servicing fast and easy. A single piece 1,3 m wide steel deck is formed and welded with bracing at high-stress areas to provide for maximum structural strength.

A superior cut for a superior finish: High lift rotary blades create enough vacuum to lift the grass for a clean even cut and then disperse the clippings evenly through the rear of each deck for a superior after cut appearance. An optional mulching kit is available to help return clipping nutrients to the soil.

Designed for the real world: Progressive designed the TD65 mowing deck to provide even dispersion of clippings through the open rear discharge area – avoiding clumping and windrows. Only minutes are required to change the TD65 cutting height from 2,54 to 12,7  cm without the use of tools. For convenience and safety, all transport and mowing functions are activated without the operator leaving the tractor’s seat.
